Yesterday a 30 years old woman was found with blows from a sharp object (knife or machete) to her face and skull, which were "totally disfigured".

It is supposed to be a crime of passion. Witnesses told that she had been threatened, but this source doesn't tell by whom.

Other sources have more info - or better fantasy - and tell that it should be the wife of her lover swinging the knife. They even suppose that the lover could be involved. Maybe he got bored with her

More seriously - this doesn't look like the work of a jealous woman. Not that she couldn't hack the victims face, we have seen that before, but that's at home in the back yard or at the front door - not on a desolate road, to which the victim has to be brought. So unless it is correct that the lover himself was into it, I don't believe much in that version.

But it is a good story, and that's what counts in red (or yellow, if you want) journalism
