A 39 year old woman was found in the morning floating face down in the water while her Honda wave motorcycle was found hours earlier in a water canal and 2 km away. She was only wearing a piece of underwear while her shirt was also found floating in the water.
Preliminary autopsy by doctors found no external wounds but confirmed that she died a 6 hours ago by drowning.
Her 40 year old husband told that she had left with a group of women and men on motorcycles for dinner around 10 pm the evening before.
A female living near-by where her motorcycle was found told she heared an argument and a woman crying. Then she heard a loud bang, similar to a heavy fall in the water. Then it became silent but she did not dare to check out the scene for fear of harm as it was a dark area. Police found drag marks at that spot.
