Woman Found Beaten and Bound in Punta de Mata, Monagas, Venezuela (May 2025)
On Monday, May 12, 2025, a woman's body was discovered on land beside the road leading to the Caicarita community, in the Ali Primera sector of Punta de Mata, Monagas state, Venezuela. She was partially undressed, her hands were tied, and she had sustained multiple head injuries. Press in Monagas described the case as an apparent femicide. The woman had no identification documents and was locally known only by a nickname. At the time of the coverage, no formal identification of the victim or arrest had been reported.  ·  ·  ·  ·  · |

Damnit man, poor girl got beat and choked to death. Looks like maybe she was trying to make some cash and dude didn't wanna pay.

She and her boyfriend were having a nice picnic. Things were even getting a little spicy. But she just couldn’t keep her mouth shut. “Your mother is such a bitch,” she said.
