Woman Dies from Lack of Medical Care After Giving Birth
On 26th March 2018, 45 year old Suk Lai died shortly after giving birth at a hospital in Poipet. It states that she was screaming but was not checked over immediately + left alone for a while. At some point later, relatives went to see her + saw that she had died due to the negligence of the hospital staff. *I'm assuming that the baby is alive as there was no mention of otherwise. Plus, it looks like there's a bottle of a baby toiletry (maybe talcum powder) next to the baby, which obviously wouldn't be of any use if the baby was deceased.* |

Yeah...the baby is way too "blue" to be healthy. I think the little sweetie is "gone"... The lack of basic, common health care in these countries is absolutely appalling. I mean, for God's sake, she just had ANOTHER HUMAN BEING forcefully escape from her body THROUGH A 10cm HOLE! If you think that's "easy" or "beautiful", try pulling your lower lip up over your forehead! I hope she haunts the shit outta that place... |

Re: Woman Dies from Lack of Medical Care After Giving Birth
Many years ago I worked with a woman who had just given birth to her first child. A bunch of us from work went to visit her in the hospital and see the new baby. I'll never forget her description of giving birth. She said, "You know how everyone says what a beautiful experience it is?? Bullshit, it hurt like hell!" That turned out to be her only child.

Yup, I only have 1 myself-by C section. "Natural" childbirth is scarier than anything put forth in the "Saw" series. At least none of Jigsaw's traps lasted 18 years! |

Re: Woman Dies from Lack of Medical Care After Giving Birth
Giving birth is the most agonising pain I've ever been in. First time, I was only 19 years old + I was terrified. I just couldn't push my son out + couldn't cope with the pain. I had an epidural, it took 6 top ups to be properly numb + I've suffered from back ache ever since (over 15 years!). My son was pulled out of me with forceps, I tore + had to be stitched up. The second time, with my daughter, I was nearly 28 years old. I was in so much agony, never felt pain like it, I've never screamed so much! When I got to the hospital, I was already fully dilated so could only have gas + air (which made me off my head!). I felt every single bit of pain, I'll never forget that burning feeling. |
