In the early hours of Thursday a 25 year old Pattaya City Hall worker was killed after she is suspected of falling asleep at the wheel and smashing into the wall of a North Pattaya Temple with her car.

Police and medics rushed to the scene of the crash outside of the Gratin Rai Temple in Pattaya, just before 3.30am.

At the scene, the driver of a Black Toyota Yaris, aged 25, was declared dead-at-the-scene and was removed from her mangled car after suffering life-ending high-impact injuries.

Witnesses confirmed the car was being driven at a high rate of speed and appeared to veer off the main carriageway in a non-urgent manner, which suggests to Police the driver fell asleep at the wheel.

A post-mortem examination will take place and will include tests to determine if the driver was under the influence of anything at the time or had suffered an acute medical problem, which caused her to lose consciousness.

But look at the damage. It's all rear. If this would of been a suicide attempt she would of driven that Yaris head first into the wall. Just my 2 cents

Her body looks in good shape compared to most in crashes on here. If she did go into that wall in reverse, maybe she was drunk? That's a wide sidewalk to go over accidentally in reverse.
