Woman Dies After Being Hit by Urban Truck in Downtown Acapulco Mexico

Acapulco, Gro. November 21, 2019.- A woman lost her life after being hit by an urban truck on the morning of this Thursday on Constituyentes Avenue and Ejido in the Center of the port of Acapulco.

Until now, the identity of the young woman, approximately 25 to 35 years old, who lost her life instantly after being hit by the heavy passenger unit, who was wearing a flowered short and an orange blouse, is unknown.

The events occurred minutes before 09:00 in the morning on said road in the center of that tourist port, a few meters from the central market, where the truck stranded on the Costera-Centro-Caleta route was, and at the front the victim's body.

Elements of the Tourist Police came to the place, who upon confirming the death of the woman were in charge of cordoning off the area, however, the driver of the urban truck fled with an unknown direction, leaving the unit abandoned.

Subsequently, personnel from the State Attorney General's Office (FGE) and the Forensic Medical Service (Semefo), arrived at the scene to carry out the corresponding legal proceedings and the removal of the corpse to transfer it to its facilities.
