Re: Woman Choked to Death on a Piece of Meat in Restaurant
Seriously, one good inhale and you can swallow anything. People swallow things all the time. They have to put "choking hazard" on a lot of items. I could see how this meat is ribs. The moment food touches your tongue, the digestion process begins. Saliva breaks it down. I'd say that piece of meat was lodged in her throat for a few hours after her dying. (Probably the time it took to get her out of the restaurant and onto the morgue table for autopsy.) Could have been days for all we know. If you've ever dissected pickled animals, the meat kind of reminds me of the same grossness, just without the embalming fluid; it was no doubt partially digested, then began decomposing inside of her. |
