Re: Woman on Bike Rams into the Back of a Waiting Truck and Dies
Looks like she was going to turn left but misjudged her speed and the angle to miss the truck. She definitely hit the brake so I don't think it was a suicide.

Re: Woman on Bike Rams into the Back of a Waiting Truck and Dies
Approaching the intersection faster than necessary, probably planning first to move between vehicles then changed mind and planned to move in front via the other way, without really slowing down. that brake light turning on might just have been a preliminary flick of level/pedal but no pad engaged the hubs. no noticeable slowing down in the video.

Darwin Award Nominee for 2019? (Really, there should be a sticky thread that collects these, and we all vote in December every year!) Looked like she decided at last second to try for the far left turn lane ... Poor rider skills. |

In the biker world its target fixation , she was going to avoid the truck but looked at the back of it, on a bike you go where you look, plus she should have looked further up the road than her front wheel.

She would make a real art form study model...
