Woman Beheaded, Head Hung Like a Christmas Ornament
Woman in her early 30's was decapitated at the side of the road in Brazil. Her head was then hung by the hair from a nearby length of barbed wire while the decapitated body was lying on the road itself. Scene was discovered by a delivery driver on a motorcycle who crashed and fell off of his bike when he took a curve and his headlight illuminated the grim tableau. He immediately phoned the police. Biker was unhurt but likely traumatized for a while at having lit upon such a terrible discovery. Woman has been ID'd as a 25 year old mother of 2, one of whom is a ten year old deaf son with various special needs. She had been checked into a mental institution several times over the past few years for depression and anxiety. On her last trip, she came back with a new boyfriend. Her mother suspected that she (and the new boyfriend) were involved with selling drugs. No motives or suspects yet. But as I have said before...when a woman is brutally murdered in Brazil and no rape is perpetrated it is always one of three things: 1. Drugs 2. Drugs 3. Boyfriend on Drugs. |

Yeah, judging from the cut on her shoulder blade, they probably slit her throat and left her bleed out like a chicken, then chopped the rest of the neck with some sort of large blade from a"safe" distance.
