Rachee, I'd guess she is dead, her gaze is a dead woman's gaze.

At the same time, how much blood does one loose from this type of face cut? Nearly none. The face don't really bleed all that much. Remember that video of the guy laying on the floor with a sign hanging from his neck getting executed in the face by an automatic weapon? His face turns into cardboard, it's not bloody (sorry, gorey example). So Rachee's question is legit, in fact.
