That's the man that you see in the photo, and he later died, not because of that wound: basically he was being dragged to his death by the people that were surrounding him in the moment the photo was taken, when he was already wounded.
Of course I have no idea what really happened to him, but the following video allegedly shows the confession of one of the murderers (@ 1:26)
