Had a patient the other day with a copperhead bite, developed compartment syndrome. Looked just like this when we were finished.

Happened to my brother...same thing. But this scar is longer....I would guess some sort of major upper abdominal surgery requiring cracking of the sternum. And, like Bunky and shaved kitty said....ones a colostomy, and the other an ileostomy, from the bladder.
