This unlucky fellow was walking out of the Downtown City Center in Edmonton, Alberta Canada, when he caught a hammer to the head. We may not have shooting after shooting up north, but it definitely is not as "Disneyland" as the world media outlets would make you believe.

I love the LRT, they can't make you pay the tickets because of the cross jurisdictions from RCMP, City Po Po, and transit cops. Free travel is great travel!

Sad. We have had a few of these episodes here too over the years. What pisses me (and many other danes) off, is that the killer is out in the free in a few years.

We have an actual case, where a man beat his partner and threw her out from a third floor window. She survived, but will never be the same, and she has got no help so far. Happened a couple of years ago. And the violent man? Oh, he's out of jail on probation and got a job/education with public help.
