Bones can be removed and replaced with the pvc like pipe stuff when bone cancer is present. In deceased patients the bones can be donated to people who have bone cancer.

I think it's more than bone marrow they are salvaging if that. Looks like skin and anything else they can harvest. He is dead lol. He's a donor. No other explanation.
