Waves Knock Young Man & Woman Into the Ocean
Two cousins, a 24 year old male and a 19 year old female, wanted to have their photo taken to post to friends. At some point, very shortly after the photo was taken (by a third cousin), the ocean's waves knocked them off the rocks and into the sea. The area is like a cliff so it's possible that they moved closer to the water for another shot and/or some video which brought them closer to the incoming waves. Both ended up in the water, getting tossed around by the raging waves: pulled away from the shore one second then thrown back into the rocks before being pulled out again. The young woman stated that she tried to yell at her male cousin and keep him afloat (she even grabbed him by the hair at one point) but he had already succumbed to the intake of water and the waves pulled him away. She was rescued but the young man was not found for 4 days, when a woman spotted his corpse on the beach further down the shoreline. Authorities don't know if one of the cousins fell in first and the other dove in to try and rescue or if they both fell into the water at the same time.
