Warsaw Driver Killed as Combine Harvester Pulls Onto DK2 at Broszkow, Poland
On the afternoon of Sunday, July 16, 2023, a Citroen Xsara Picasso struck a combine harvester's header on national road DK2 at kilometre 556 in Broszkow, gmina Kotun, Siedlce County, Masovian Voivodeship, Poland. The car was crushed, killing its 38-year-old driver from Warsaw at the scene. He had to be cut free, and was not named in the reporting. Police said the sober, uninjured local operator of the harvester pulled out from a field without giving way to the car, which was travelling normally along the road. The driver who died was not the person police held responsible.  ·  ·  ·  ·  · |
