"wanderer" Shot Dead by Police.
On the afternoon of Tuesday (24), a 25 year old man was killed in confrontation with military police officers after it was reported he was wandering through the streets and causing panic among residents. Police were triggered by an anonymous tip off. Agents reacted in defense of community order. In the possession of the victim was on 35 caliber revolver with 6 cartridges intact. The victim was taken to the Hospital Frei Ricardo where he succumbed to his injuries and died, the body was sent to the Forensic Institute in Eunápolis. The victim had recently been arrested by the police for drug trafficking and attempted murder and theft and had been released on bail only a few days ago.  ·  ·  ·  ·  ·  · |
