Hello All, that is done, because the colon is very vascular, and absorbtion is often 4 times faster then if consumed in the tradtional way! Without our liver to buffer the alcohol absorbtion. alcohol levels can reach a blood alcohol level 4 and 5!! Also the colon doesn't react like the stomach, by causing vominting to dump, that last one for the road!!  This can also be a clever attempt at homicide, few doctors would question a DOA at the ER for alcohol poisioning if the patient looked homeless. Myself encluded....  |

Just surprised that there is such a lack of blood outside the body. Although there is obvious Livor mortis along the margins of the large intestine from Splenic flexure down. Such a massive internal haemorrhage to cause death would have certainly filled up his intestines then ultimately leaked out (I mean we're talking 5-6 liters of blood). Dunno just strikes me as odd, especially in the presence of feces on his butt but not pooled blood. |
