You do have a point. Basically when the Germans invaded Russia, they did the same things to the Russian people - raping \ destroying villages, livestock etc - they wanted to destroy the slavic race of people. When the Russians started to push the Germans back - it was payback time - eye for an eye. That meant raping and killing. Normally it was the second wave of soldiers that did this - although Stalin said it was wrong to rape etc, the KGB of the time turned a blind eye. |
