why couldn't he have just taken them to the police station? life is really cheap there. He could have also just beaten them up. Everthing in Brazil seems to be settled with a bullet... |

The population (including the cops) there have likely already experienced the futility of the 'revolving door' style of dealing with crime and have opted for a different approach. Leaving the criminal terrorists facedown and dead along a road ends their criminal escapades immediately and sends the right message to the other thugs. |

ive heard the horror stories about the unwanted street urchins who live in the sewers, sniff glue all day and emerge only to commit crimes....no other choices really for them, but akin to stray cats or dogs: society just needs them gone. a win/win, unfortunately better for everyone.

anyone know why there shorts are all undone? I've noticed this before on other events in brazil... cops checking for guns? |
