Victims of Civil War in Borkou-Ennedi-Tibesti Prefecture
The corpses Libyan soldiers lie buried in the sand after the war with the Forces Armees Nationales Chadiennes (FANT), or National Army of Chad. The FANT mission in early 1987 was to reconquer the Borkou-Ennedi-Tibesti Prefecture and recover the territory in northern Chad that had been under Libyan control. See the guy lay in front of the tank (5th pic), is that a camcorder or something round his neck??? Bizarre!! |
