Is Venezuela so bad of a sh__ hole that they would come to work in Mexico? Obvious no one in Mexico is going to protect them or help in anyway ... wonder what the trafficking pipeline looks like ... if they are going to leave home turf, why not come all the way to the real money ... LA? Miami? Poor girl ... what a sad story this is. Probably much worse than we know, which would explain her leaving her home comfort zone for .... Mexico, for God's sake.

I ran across an article in the Washington Post today that covers the failed economy in Venazuala, and how middle and upper class people are reduced to menial labor, and including drugs and prostitution, to survive.

The murdered girl in this DR article could be any sort of nice respectable person in her home, but driven out and abroad by need to survive. Just giving another point of view.
