Vehicle Collides with Bus, Killing 5 - Colombia
Been away from the gore sections for a week and halfish. Trying to get back into the swing of things.... In the early hours of the morning of the 5th November, 2022, a fatal traffic accident occurred in eastern Antioquia, on the road that leads from the municipality of Yarumal to Caucasia. A public service bus collided with a van. Five people died and one more was injured in the accident. According to the Traffic Police, the crash occurred in the Puerto Antioquia sector, at kilometer 117 around 5:40 in the morning. Among the fatal victims is a four-year-old girl (not pictured) while one of the companions in the truck was injured and was taken to the Caucasia hospital. This road also joins the municipalities of Tarazá and Puerto Valdivia, as well as leads to the Troncal del Caribe. According to the authorities, the vehicles involved were a Rapido Ochoa company bus and a gray private van. The authorities continue to investigate the causes of the accident, but some inhabitants of the El Rayo village point out that the accident occurred when the driver of the truck lost control of the vehicle and collided with the bus.          |
