Various Recent Deaths
1. On the afternoon of 25th October 2018 in Santo Antonio, 15 year old H.D.S.O. was shot dead. 'H' was on a football field with several other people when military police opened fire. In the panic, he tried to escape the scene but was shot in the back. After being shot, he managed to jump over a wall but collapsed after walking a few metres. People carried the boy to the ambulance but he died just after getting to the hospital. That night, residents held a protest in front of the police station. The glass front of the station was smashed by people throwing stones. The police claim that 'H' had a gun. 6 teenagers that were at the scene + the police who were also there, have taken part in a hearing. The gun of the officer who shot 'H' has been taken in for investigation, as has the .38 calibre revolver that is claimed to have been in the possession of 'H' at the time of the shooting. The boy's mother said "they were back there. Someone reported that they had a gun and drugs. He says the police shot, my son got scared, ran and shot. My Son's 15 years old, he studied, he's innocent. Every day he was going to play (in the Olympic Village). Today he was only afternoon because he had no class."         2. Yesterday afternoon (26th October 2018) in Aparecida, 27 year old D.A.D.O. was shot dead. 'D' was at work when 2 men in a silver car approached him. The occupants opened fire with a rifle + a 9mm pistol. Witnesses state that they heard around 20 shots. According to 'D's aunt, she said that he was involved with drugs, though did not know if he was a user, seller or both.      3. On 24th October 2018 in Ilha Sandri, the body of a woman was found floating in the water. Her arms were tied behind her back + a rock was tied to her feet.  4. On the afternoon of 25th October 2018 in Itanhém, the body of a man was found. He had been buried in a shallow grave on a farm.    5. On the night of 24th October 2018 in Capuan, 2 men were shot dead. 3 men had entered the building + fired several shots, killing 45 year old C.S.F. + 20 year old C.L.D.S.   6. Murder in Nova Olinda do Norte on 26th October 2018
