The one in hospital (presumably, looks like a hospital toilet plus he's in a gown) is sad. I wonder if it was a psychiatric unit?
I know about suspension hangings but haven't seen one with the person sitting like that before. Can't quite understand how you'd succeed that way... would you just slump as far as you could until you pass out, then hopefully choke? I just imagine it to be hard to put as much weight on the neck as possible that way. Interesting nonetheless.
I noticed that as well. I'm guessing he dropped all his weight down. Snapped his neck instead of oxygen deprivation.
