Various Deaths in Mexico on 4th of October 2018
The body of a man identified as V.M.R.D, 25, was discovered on Iguala. He had been tortured and dismembered, police believe in a satanic ritual, by his friend identified only as 'N'. N was reported to police by his mother who discovered bags full of human remains in his bedroom, she added that he had previously been jailed for assault and regularly told her that the devil asked him to perform human sacrifices.  A man identified as J.N, 45, was assassinated in Chilpancingo with four gunshots from a passing vehicle as he stood on a street corner. Emergency services were called but he was pronounced dead at the scene.  The body of a man was found hanged just west of Acapulco, police reports suggest that he had committed suicide, forensic examination suggests that he had suffocated and had remained undiscovered for several hours. He has yet to be identified.  |

You can see a bag around his head. Where would he have hung himself?  Or do they mean he attempted to hang himself somewhere else, failed and then decided to just lay down and put a bag over his own head...pray that no one found him until he was good and dieded? |

I was wondering about that, it could just be his clothes bundled up around him where he fell, looks like there's some garbage lying around the area so might be that? Two original articles say the police believe suicide, maybe it's a cover up.

Looks like a steep bank nearby leading to some heavy undergrowth/vegetation, I'm guessing he strung himself up from a tree and the rope gave out in his death throes. Pure speculation of course but it would seem logical.
