Various Deaths
1. In Chico Miranda this morning (8th July 2018), a young man known as 'Coringa' ('joker') was shot dead.   2. In 2014 in Palmares, 72 year old Heleno Januário da Silva hanged himself. He was found dead by his grandson.    3. On 19th May 2017 in Casa das Rendeiras, 17 year old José Matheus Silva Costa died. José + another male had just assaulted a couple which was seen on CCTV. The police were informed + they went after the suspects. The police saw them travelling on a motorbike. When José + his accomplice noticed the police, they fired at them. The police retaliated + the motorbike crashed into a pole. José died from his injuries.       4. In Manaus at 8pm on 5th July 2018, 18 year old Robson Santos da Silva was murdered. Robson, an amateur football player, was shot twice in his back whilst he was getting ready to play a football game.      5. In São Domingos do Capim, early July 2018, a man was beheaded.  |
