She was so beautiful, even in death. So sad to think at 20, you’re life isn’t worth living. I think that’s more common in countries with India’s type of culture than would be here in the USA or Europe. Tragic. I’ve never understood how one can hang themselves with their feet touching the floor.

Even as a child I've had thoughts like "why didn't I jump out the window when I was 3? Now I'm too pussy to kill myself." I grew up bullied at school and abused at home. I was depressed until I was 26 and that was when I got into a relationship with a man who's not an addict for once. Things could have gotten better for this woman. I'm lucky to have grown up in the west where being alive is valued more than pleasing family is.
