22-year-old male was found dead in a bathtub. His head was covered by a canvas bag, bound with a rope around his neck, as the water from the shower head sprayed on the bag. (Fig. 1)

Each of his wrists was tightly bound by a nylon rope, and these two loops of ropes were held together with a padlock. This way, his hands were held close together. (Fig. 2)

Under his body, scissors and the key to the padlock was found. Unused nylon rope was discarded on the floor of a bedroom.(Fig. 3)

In my humble opinion, this was more likely to be a case of autoerotic asphyxia, due to the following:

1. He had no prior history of economic hardship, psychiatric disease, suicidal ideation or attempt of suicide. No suicide note either.

2. He was naked.

3. His escape route is nearby, namely the key and scissors. If he'd want to die, why didn't he throw the scissors outside with the unused ropes?
