It is about an estimated 50 to 65 year old woman. She has a light skin colour, is approximately 1.60 meters long, weighs around 60 kilos and has short reddish hair. The woman has no tattoos or other traceable appearance. A section did show that the woman's uterus, ovaries and gallbladder were removed during one or more operations. She has also undergone appendix surgery.

Research shows that the woman was probably not in the pasture long when a passerby found her on the Sint Anthoniekade. The place where the naked body was found is located a few meters from the Belgian border.

The "girl of Teteringen" is a young woman who was found murdered on Christmas Day 1990 in the Cadet Camp just outside Teteringen. She appeared to be famished and must have been tied up for a long time before her death. A cold case team reopened the case early this year. Witness calls gave new witnesses and a trail to the Moroccan community in Antwerp, but again not the identity of the girl.

The police now hope that modern techniques to remove DNA from bones will succeed. An archaeologist and an anthropologist from the Dutch Forensic Institute (NFI) dug up the remains yesterday morning at the cemetery on Teteringse Groenstraat. The NFI first examines the bones itself. Thank you Simone. Somehow this young woman does not look Moroccan to me. African yes, Moroccan, no. In the video they are talking about 3 *possible* Moroccan suspects. Her hair was cut short right before her murder, she was tortured for weeks, poor girl.
