Re: An Unfortunate Incident
Thanks Sharon... You are going to pop my cherry, I've never been on or even used Twitter. I make my living in semiconductor computer chip design and munufacturing, so I avoid new technology like the plague. I would still be using DOS if I could have found a DOS web browser... |

Re: An Unfortunate Incident
Yeah. I hate the forced migration from one technology to another. It's just intentional imcompatability and planned obsolescence to make the big names money. I am still using XP and there is nothing lacking that couldn't have been added to 64 bit XP. I am slowly being forced to a change that is claimed and promoted as an 'upgrade' (Windows 10). |

Re: An Unfortunate Incident
Meh, I stuck to win 7 and dual boot with Arch Linux. Never cared to upgrade to 10. I am interested to see the next Microsoft OS, "Microsoft announced a new operating system for IoT called Azure Sphere OS. But here’s the shocker: It’s based on Linux, not on Windows." https://www.thurrott.com/internet-of...ux-not-windows |
