The painful look on her mothers face. Does she have coins on her eyes I the first picture? Why? Anibuis are you Ukranian?

They put coins on eyelids to close the eyes properly. Here it didn't work I suppose.

i dont know what means the coins in the orthdox religion
It was original from the Italians burial customs to the afterlife road leads through a river and the sailor should be given money to carry over the spirit to the afterlife
Therefore, the Italians put money in the eyes of the dead
