Two women were shot to death by a man at Antipolo St., Tondo, Manila on February 11, 2017. They both died while en route to Jose Reyes Memorial Medical Center in Santa Cruz, Manila.

Mark Salazar (anchor): The shooting of two women in Tondo, Manila is caught on camera, while the barangay captain was killed in San Simon, Pampanga. Katrina Son, reporting.
Katrina Son (reporter): On a CCTV footage, two women can be seen walking in Brgy. 227 Zone 21 in Tondo, Manila. The man, who was wearing jacket, cap and surgical mask, followed them. The suspect immediately drew the gun and shot one of the two women at point-blank range. The victim immediately laid down and died. When her companion looked upon, she was shot by the suspect, who immediately fled after committing the crime. She was rushed to the hospital, but was later pronounced dead. The slain victims were identified as Christian Joy Ortega and Jessa Mae Kyoya. Their families suspected, the illegal drug trade is the motive for their murders.
Hulyo Ortega (Christian Joy Ortega's father): Someone told me the news that my daughter was using shabu (methamphetamine). She was taught by [her friends].
Victor Gepti (Jessa Mae Kyoya's uncle): She was not a [drug] pusher (dealer). She was a [drug] user. But, she was not really a [drug] pusher (dealer).
Katrina Son (reporter): The investigation is ongoing about the incident.
I am not going to pursue the second part because it is not related to this case.
