On May 23rd, a Saturday not less than ten people, most of them young or kids, had gone out with a small boat to fish on a river in the Dominican Republic.

Something happened, the boat capsized or simply sank. Seven made it to the river bank, but a 16 years old pregnant girl, a 18 years old girl (same last name, but they aren't mentioned as being sisters or in same family at all) and an 11 years old boy were missing.

Later the same day, the 16 years old girl was found, still not decomposed. It is obvious that she is pregnant - everything between eight weeks and seven months is mentioned. To me it looks like somewhere between the extremes. The casket image is from a wake in her home the same evening - she was buried Sunday morning.

Also on Sunday the 18 years old girl was found. There are no frontal images - looking at her back, we maybe should be grateful. About 24 hours in the tropics make you look like that. The alive image is posted everywhere, sometimes also as the 16 years old. After careful consideration, I feel convinced that it is the older girl.

A couple of days later, on Tuesday, the boy was found. There is only this distant view, but the video has a few seconds of a close view of his floating corpse - face down only in this case too.

Take a look, she is certainly not eight months pregnant. But as said in OP, I believe that it is more than the eight weeks mentioned in many sources.

My wife looked like that at 8 months pregnant, then blew up in the last 4 weeks, and went overdue by 2 weeks. Some women carry the baby more to the back. There's a certain type of position the womb can have where you don't even show at all - just can't remember what it's called.

I have heard of that - and even of uneducated girls giving birth without ever knowing they were pregnant. So everything is possible of course, but it isn't the usual case.
