Two women were walking past a pizzeria (one of them walking a bicycle) when a man in a stocking cap and grey jacket approached, shooting both of them in the head at point blank range and then fleeing on foot.

Reports indicate that one of the sisters was the wife of a known mid-ranked cartel member in the area and the assassination is assumed to be a settling of accounts.

One sister died on the spot, the other was transported to the ER in critical condition. I'm not 100% sure which one is the dead/dying one as neither was explicitly identified. But the one lying on her back is obviously undergoing agonal breathing in the video and has already emptied her bladder into her jeans, so my guess is she's history. Her position also matches the impression of a body under a sheet in the final photo.

Bonus Crime: Watch the female bystander in the red shoes at the beginning of the video. She looks around furtively for a while and then at the 0:28 mark, bends down, steals the dying woman's wrapped package, and takes off.

Could the "package" the bystander picks up be some kind of newfangled woman's purse or accessory? Seems kinda risky to be pilfering stuff from such a crime scene with the police coming and everybody recording it, but good judgement doesn't seem to be an abundant quality in that part of the world...
