50 mm round is almost 2 inches in diameter. The cases don't even look like they are 50 caliper which is about 12.5 mm. They look like the 7.62 by 54 round or 7.62 by 52 from the Russians, or NATO which is nothing to sneeze at.

The new Barret 416 is supposed to out shoot the 50. Haven't had the op yet but I'll get a chance and give a comparison.
