Four people were killed when, whilst travelling in a pickup truck on a dirt road, they were ambushed by armed men, who shot them multiple times. It is preliminarily believed that the victims were carrying a large sum of money when they were killed.

The four deceased were:
Adán A.S., 37
Jonathan A.L.
Maria E.P., 59
Ericka M.G., 19

Inside the pickup truck was a two-year-old girl, the daughter of Adán and Ericka. Although covered in blood, she was unharmed.
