So they were larping fallout lore? Interesting to see they had fun with it before they died, I guess.

Re: Two Men Committed Suicide on a Popular Trail in Mount Rainer National Park
[QUOTE=18Zulu;6838366]I have couple of Rugers chambered for 6.5 creedmoor. I was thinking of using a Ar 10 lower and using a 6.5 barrel instead of 7.62. I just haven’t gotten around to it. Ive been checking gunbroker for extra barrels to f with. But right now I’m just laser sighting my Rugers. I just bought the simple American predator model. I was lucky one had the modification feed in the magazine. But why carry ten rounds of 6.5 in a clip it’s more better to carry three or four four round clips.

Re: Two Men Committed Suicide on a Popular Trail in Mount Rainer National Park
[QUOTE=Mongolian60;7091973]I like Ruger they have really picked up their game with accuracy in the last couple of years. Long range aside I have to say my Custom Ruger 10-22 in .22LR is one of my favorite guns, I love that thing. I have a couple of AR10s in 6.5CM. By far my one of my best investments over all is my Knights Armorment SR-25 PR. It has been modified from 22" down to 19.5" because it was just not easy to get around with after adding a suppressor. I surmise you are doing your own build on your 10. Aside from gun broker you should get ahold of SERE Central. They have super low prices and usually have items in stock when everyone is sold out. I believe it is info at serecentral.com. I purchased an AR45 and AR45 pistol kit from them and ordered 30 barrels in a bundle of varied calibers. The only problem with them is they have issues with their website and you have to email direct. As far as magazine capacity. You can get Pmags with true 25 round capacity for the AR10/SR25 platforms now. I would never stifle myself to 3,5 or 10 round mags if there is another option. In my AI bolt guns I am limited to 10 round box mags and at 120.00 each I’m hopeful AI doesn’t make a bigger mag for awhile because I can only imagine what the ticket price on higher capacity will be. As far as AR platforms go high cap or go home. Those weapons are meant to be multi functional on movement or solid platform use. |
