Two Inmates Killed During Rebellion
In the early evening this Sunday (19) two inmates died and one was injured after rebellion in the Socio-Educational Services Foundation (FUNASE) in Caruaru. The demonstration began with teenagers burning mattresses and ended up with 2 internal dead. The Civil Police investigate the case along with the Scientific Police which is responsible for reconstructing crimes to elucidate what really happened on site. The FUNASE reports that the internal affairs of the institution will open an inquiry to ascertain the facts and responsibilities of the rebellion that left 2 dead, a 16 year old and a 19 year old. The 2 teenagers, 16 and 19, were killed during a rebellion by inmates at FUNASE in CARUARU. Inmates set fire to matresses and curtains. One victim was stabbed whilst the other suffocated in the fire. No perpetrators have yet been identified.
