KA on the scooter number plate - This is somewhere in Karnataka, South India. Could be Bangalore.

Even the uniform of the traffic policeman is something that is common in South India.

You sure this is India and not Indonesia? The girls' clothes and the scooter look a lot more appropriate for the former than the latter. Pics are good and all, I just like having the information be as accurate as possible.
