Sunday 23/06/13 a small truck with twelve passengers, four in the cabin and eight on the back, crashed into a van coming from the opposite direction in a curve.

The two women, a 68 years old and her 33 years old daughter, was killed at the spot falling down on the road from the back of the truck. Several of the other passengers were injured. They were all on their way to a religious feast in another town. I'm not sure that they would qualify as pilgrims in my language, but that's the word used in the headline, so I kept it.

It is a bit unclear who of the drivers had the fault. When I read the text and the translation, it seems to say that the driver of the van was speeding and invading the lane of the truck, and that this driver was arrested. Nevertheless the text to the image of the driver (the last image here) says that this is the driver of the truck and that he was arrested.

The images of the truck show what's left of the build up in the back, where eight people travelled.

For some reason the images are a bit different in size. I post them as they were found.
