This criminal brain trust, made up of a 20 year old moron and his 17 year old female neighbor, decided that it was their big day to score. The dude told his wife he was going to the bakery to get some buns. The girl told her mother she was going to meet some school friends. And off they went into the sunset on his red Honda.

Unfortunately, lack of proper planning , lack of any kind of luck but bad, and lack of any sort of common sense put a short end to their burgeoning career in Brazilian crime.

While still on board the putting motorbike, they decided to mug a man they rode past in an alley behind a supermarket. With a broken gun. Broken, as in it hasn't worked in ages, and has a wadded up plastic sack jammed up where the magazine should be so it doesn't appear obviously unloaded.

Alas, that wasn't even their biggest mistake. The more grievous error even than the broken gun was that their mark was an off-duty (but fully armed) Civil Policia.

The Back-Alley Barrio Bonnie & Clyde pulled up alongside him, whereupon the girl (on the back of the bike) brandished the broken-ass gun and ordered him to relinquish all of his cash and his cell phone. The off-duty officer responded by shooting her in the chest at point blank range, blowing her off of the bike and out of her flip flops.

The impact caused the bike to topple and her male counterpart sought the better part of valor. Which is to say he ran like a barefoot bitch as fast as his feet could carry him. Not fast enough, however. He took a shot in the foot that slowed him down and then one in the back of the head as he limped along, finally landing ass-over-teakettle across a nearby railing.

Thus endeth another dazzling career in Brazilian crime.
