PHILIPPINES - On January 7, 2019, S.P.M. and 21-year-old J.F.D. were mortally shot in a buy-bust operation by the Drug Enforcement Team of Bagumbayan MPS (Municipal Police Station) at Purok San Roque, Barangay Tuka, Bagumbayan, Sultan Kudarat. They were brought to Sultan Kudarat Provincial Hospital, where they died. Only J.F.D. is shown. I can't find photos of S.P.M., as well as the crime scene. Full police report on photos E2 and E3. Two dead in a drug bust in Sultan Kudarat

BAGUMBAYAN, SULTAN KUDARAT - Two people were dead on arrival at a hospital after a drug buy-bust operation in the municipality of Bagumbayan, Sultan Kudarat at 8:45 PM last night [January 7, 2019].

In a Brigada News FM Koronadal interview, Police Chief Inspector Rodney Binoya, Chief of Police of Bagumbayan Municipal Station identified the deceased as S.M., of legal age, and his companion J.D., both residents of Purok San Roque, Barangay Tuka, Bagumbayan.

According to Benoya, they first fired shots at the operating team that resulted in the authorities' retaliation where the two were hit that resulted in their deaths.

Likewise, S.M. had been under surveillance for a long time by police due to illegal drug dealing. Aside from that, the said suspect was involved in robbery.

A caliber .38 revolver was recovered from S.M. while a homemade caliber .45 pistol was recovered from J.D.
