Two Dead, One Injured, After Fight Over "Jeep Tour" Operations
Bangli, Bali, Indonesia A long-standing dispute among members of a local "jeep tour" community resulted in a violent altercation that resulted in two deaths. The victims and suspects both worked in coordinating jeep tours around volcanoes and other scenic viewpoints for tourists, and had formerly been friends. However, they had fallen out over "tour schedules". The conflict was reignited when one of the victims, Jero Sumadi, sent a provocative message to one of the suspects, 26-year-old I Ketut Arta. Later that morning, Arta was confronted by Jero and two other men - I Ketut Artawa, and Wayan Ruslan - wielding sharp weapons. Arta escaped, and called his brother and another man to arrive at the scene with swords and a spear. Sumadi and Artawa were killed, whilst Ruslan was injured. Victim 2, the one with sausage on display as KH says, is Ketut Arawa the guy behind the "Bali Tourist Driver" service, apparently balitouristdriver.com (although that appears to have gone away now). Attached are photos from his FB page and TripAdvisor. A guy running around with sharp weapons seems to be just the type of chap you would want to have transporting young ladies around in his van ... And also a TripAdvisor review mentioning Arta, which refers to their very strict safety protocols. Ahem.  ·  ·  ·  ·  ·  · |

Well, I think displaying your intestines, genitals or the inside of your skull should be instant disqualification. That wouldn't comply with their strict safety requirements.
