Two Colombian Fishermen Were Murdered By Gang - One Beheaded
Pueblo Viejo, Magdalena, Colombia Two fishermen - 62-year-old Darío A.A.P. and 55-year-old Wilmer N. - who worked for an artisanal fish farm, were murdered after heavily-armed individuals stormed their quarters at around 1.30am. One of the men - sources differed as to which one - had been beheaded. One source claimed that in 2023, Wilmer had been accused of abusing a disabled girl in Soledad, nearly 65km away from Pueblo Viejo. He fled the city and had managed to remain incognito until his murder. It is also believed the fish farm was owned by gang leader Brayan Armando Garizabalo Yépez, alias 'Chocolate', who was captured by authorities a few days ago. The fish farm is also on a lagoon which is frequently used as a trafficking route for drugs. |
