Two Brothers Shot in Brazil
State of Pernambuco, Brazil 01/01/2015 This double homicide occured on the afternoon of Friday. According to information by the families of the victims, mother, stepfather and two young men spent the day having fun in a pool club. When they returned and parked the car, two unidentified elements came on two motorcycles and opened fire on the 2 brothers, aged 16 and 17, who were sitting in the back seat. They were shot in the head and died instantly. A 16 year-old girl, who was the wife of the younger brother(Yeah, you heard me right  ), was also hit by a bullet in the shoulder, but she survived and she's not at risk of death.Neighbors reported that they heard at least four gun shots. The family of the victims is in shock. Their mother told the police that the two boys were involved with drugs, and knew that her children had been murdered because of debt to traffickers. The Military Police and the Municipal Civil Guard were in place and waited for the arrival of the Civil Police for identification, realization of cadaveric procedures and make the referral of victims to IML.       |

16 seems to be an average lifespan for young boys that are involved with drugs in Brazil.  |

What a sad end... poverty has a role to play in why these kids make these stupid decisions in their lives.  |

Poverty did indeed have a role.... they couldn't pay for their drugs, so they got shot! Empty pockets cost them their lives!  Oh, c'mon.... it was funny.... |

I would hazard a guess she probably IS at risk of death at a later date. They didn't get her this time, but I bet they do eventually!  |
