On Wednesday 8th April in Brazil a 21yo and his 19yo friend used to sometimes go to feed nearby horses during their lunchtime. However, heavy rain and a thunderstorm ensued that caused a lot of local damage - including a tree falling onto the animal feed hut they and some hens were seeking shelter in

His 19yo friend survived.
Up here a family in New Jersey was having a cookout, all sitting under a huge tree branch on a pic nic table. Storm came up and lightning hit the branch and boom ! Killed four family members instantly.
