One of my best friends was killed by a drunk driver 2 weeks ago. She was standing waiting to cross an intersection when the car hit her from behind. Her sister was standing right next to her and witnessed the whole thing. I am SO thankful she didn't get dragged or caught in the wheels. Seeing her thrown across 4 lanes was devastating enough.  |
