Trapped in the Walls
The skeletal remains of Mary Stewart Cerruti, a 61 year old woman from Houston, Texas, have been found in her bungalow. She had been reported missing in the summer of 2015 by her neighbours, who had not seen her for days. When the mortgage payments on her home had stopped, a bank foreclosed her home + it was cleaned + sold. Mary's remains were discovered in May 2017 by the new owners. Mary is believed to have fallen through the attic floor + became trapped between the walls. Most of her skeleton was in place + her bones, along with clothes, trainers + her glasses, were collected by authorities last year. 6 deceased cats were also found in the attic.                  |

It doesn't say whether she fell to her death, or whether being trapped between the walls did her in. If the latter is the case, she probably died an extremely slow and painful death (from dehydration or hunger). Hopefully, the fall did her in. |

Yes, I don't think the cause of death has been determined yet. It's wishful thinking that she died from the fall though, unfortunately, I bet that she died suffering. Horrible, poor woman.

sure this was a murder. there is a blanket coverering her body.it seems someone put it over her body soon after her death

Apparently there was a broken window but police found no signs of trauma or foul play on the bones.
