All joking aside, I couldn't agree more. Too many sheeple with the expectation of political correctness and it seems today as if critical thinking is a fading virtue. So indeed, we need the very thing you mention. I need to check out that movie sometime. |

It's gotten to the point that political correctness is preferred over truth. It's shocking how often someone telling the truth gets them into trouble these days. Several times the past few years a politician or movie star says something that is dead straight fact and within 24 hours you see them on tv or the internet apologizing and saying they didn't mean it because so many people went against them. A few times lately I will hear someone say the truth in the media and I think yep, they will be apologizing for that one. Set a timer for a 24 hour countdown and wait for it. And of course it happens. As far as the Wild One, yeah, it' s a must see classic. It was influential to many bikers back in the day. Even Sonny Barger according to his own words. |
But oddly specific, at any rate.
